Review: L'Oreal Paris ~ Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution

Review time :)

First of all I will start with what the L'Oreal website states about this product.

"L’Oréal Paris Skin Perfection Purifying Micellar Water, high performance cleansing for sensitive skin. Used by make-up artists, the ‘micellar’ solution swiftly removes all traces of make-up and acts like a purifying magnet on skin’s surface to capture and draw out excess oil and impurities. So gentle, skin feels soothed and toned. Hypo-allergenic. No Alcohol. Dermatologically tested."

What I think:

Well personally I LOVE this product and I use it every night! I find it takes off all of my make up and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth! I tend to use it with cotton wool pads and use them until I no longer have any make up residue left on the pad. It is very gentle and has no alcohol in the product, which I really like. I even use it to take off my eye make up. I have sensitive skin and so far have had no bad reaction around my eye area from doing so. BONUS! hehe. I am now on my 3rd bottle this is how much I adore the product.

WARNING:

The hole in the top of the bottle is rather wide therefore you can sometimes over pour and this results in a waste of the product and also a very wet, soggy cotton wool pad!

You are able to pick this product up from most UK supermarkets or drugstores. The RRP is £4.99

Have you tried it?

LOVE IT: Viktor&Rolf ~ Flowerbomb Perfume

Smelling lovely is a must right?

Well I FINALLY got given Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb perfume as a gift :) SCORE! I have wanted this perfume for soooooo long! I have never bought it myself because it is not the cheapest or perfumes, and spare dosh for like many of you I assume is not a regular occurrence for me. So you can utterly imagine the excitement that came over me, when I got given this.

The first thing that stands out to me is the packaging, I do love it! It portrays a pretty floral product which indeed it is! I like the way the box shows the illusion of a wrapped present that is secured by a wax stamp!

Moving to the bottle itself, I just feel like it is very well presented and girly. The liquid has a slight pink tinge, and this is carried on through the metal on the product as well, which i think is a great touch! The plastic wax stamp which is made into a tag on the bottle is also really cute. (However be careful when transporting the perfume, because it is not that strong and mine has snapped off :( Whoops)

I utterly LOVE the smell! This shouldn't be a surprise or I guess I would not be writing this LOVE IT post. It is rather strong therefore not much is needed. Floral scents come through the strongest, however it is not overpowering because I am not usually the biggest fan of overly floral perfumes. It is rather sweet but also musky, and I think it has a sexy element about it. By far the best thing about this perfume is that it actually STAYS!

The only downsides are as I mentioned before the price and the tag being weak for transportation.

So if you are looking for a new fragrance, that is feminine and sexy try this!

Price: £65.00 (50ml) ~ This price is taken from boots.

Review: Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint ~ Barry M

Nails nails nails....

... I just love painting them! So my newest edition to my nails varnish collection is the Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint by Barry M. I picked the shade Lychee. As you may know this is one of Barry Ms fast growing effects range.

I lurvvveeee my nude colours you see so this shade stood out to me straight away. The first thing i noticed about this nail varnish was when i was using it the smell is just lovely. You may be thinking what an odd thing to first recognise but its actually really nice not over powering like some.

Next i did find that it does not seem to go on completely even however it does seem to even out whilst your doing your other nails. It does say one coat needed however i prefer the effect of two. however i have noticed the more coats you apply the more likely it is to chip so bare this in mind :) It does dry nice and quickly though always a bonus!

I love this effect that it constantly looks wet and with extra shine. I think it makes your nails look like you have just had them all done especially if you have nicely grown nails. Someone even asked me if mine were fake or real?! (I wasn't too sure if i should take this as a compliment or not lol.)

The rest of the colour range i find is rather random because there are a lot of bright colours but also some pastels. I am really happy with the product.

What are your thoughts?

LOVE IT: Graze ~ Nibble Box

Hello :)

My mam kept getting this healthy nibbles through the post when i was back home visiting. 'Its only £3.89' she kept saying! She highly recommended them to me and gave me a code so that i got my first and fifth box for free. So the word 'Free' Instantly got me interested. I used the code and signed up for the free box and if you are unhappy with the product you simply cancel it after you receive the box and you have no commitment which i think is really good.

If you go onto the website Graze Box you just sign up and you get the option to choose between three main boxes;

~Nibble Box (which i get) ~ This is maximum variety and you get to choose from over 100 nibbles.

~Eat Well Box ~ Which is a more healthy box however you will receive a little treat from time to time.

~Energy Box ~ This is the strictest box in which you do not receive any treats only the most healthy selection of the nibbles.

You then choose the type of box you are interested in and then you get to rate all the nibbles they may send you. These are the ratings;

'Bin' if you know you do not like something.

~ 'Try' if you want them to send you something and you are not sure.

~ 'Like' if you know you like it.

~ 'Love' if you definitely like it.

~'Send soon' if you cant wait for the random selection to come around for your favourite things.

Here is what i received in my first box :)

As you can see above each box you receive 4 different nibbles. The nibbles i received were;

~ The British Barbecuerosemary crostini, mini basil bread sticks, fiery seeds and smoked almonds

Review:I really enjoyed these they were packed full of flavour and i even dipped the crostinis and bread sticks into my tomato soup hehe that was really nice as well :) I have rated these LOVE.

~ Lightly Toasted Pistachios ~ roasted pistachios with a touch of salt.

Review: I love pistachios so i did love these and the salt just gives them an extra tastiness mmmmmm. I have rated these LIKE.

~ Honeycomb Flapjack ~ rustic rolled oat flapjack with honeycomb and milk chocolate.

Review: This nibble is classed as a treat :) and it is a yummy one at that! Chocolate and honeycomb in the same little treat! Delightful! I rated this as LOVE.

~ Garden of Englandmini strawberries, blackcurrants and apple.

Review: I loved the mini strawberries because they were lovely and sweet. The blackcurrants however were pretty tart a little too tart for me i am afraid. Then on to the apple i was not really a fan at all because it was very chewy and bizarre. I rated this BIN.

You also get codes given with your boxes to enable friends to get their first box free and then if they sign up using your code you then get the choice for £1 off your next box or to give to charity. :)

If anyone would like any codes just ask :)

Give it a try i recommend it! What do you think of your boxes?

Track Rings Necklace (Topshop, £18.50) - I love this necklace it has a rustic gold colouring which i love and i think this would be a necklace which would finish off many outfits really nicely.
Hack Grey Platform Sandals (Miss Selfridge, £49.00) - I have totally fell in love with these shoes! They would look gorgeous with most outfits and also come in black! Some time i will buy these! hehe
Nails Inc Special Effects Graffiti/ Nails Inc Special Effects Concrete (Nails Inc, £12.00) - I think these speak for themselves. They just make your nails and hands look utterly beautiful i expect. Nail Art Obsession

So while I have been a tad quiet I have got myself really into nail art! I have abused my nail envy to gain false nail length natural nails which I LOVE!

It's a very rare occasion when I don't have any nail varnish on at all. So I decide why not be more creative with it. What have I got to loose? (My social life?!) Ha! I actually get told off by friends and family for how much I do them over other things!

Here are a few of my latest :)

Hope you like them :) which are your favourite?

LOVE IT. LIFE SAVER ----> OPI Nail Envy

Hello my beauties,

Well i got my nails done (Full set of acrylics) from Hollywood nails in the metro centre and usually they are pretty good however i wasn't too impressed by them this time they were all different lengths and i am a perfectionist when it comes to things like false nails and i am afraid to say i was an unhappy bunny :( they are usually very good so i must have got a person having a bad day or something. Just my luck haha.

Anyhooooooo....i was a good girl and soaked them off instead of biting them off however my nails were still completely wrecked underneath. So i read a few blog posts on nail strengtheners and decided to try the OPI Nail Envy. I am soooo glad i did! I am in LOVE with it. My nails are usually quite prone to breaking and flaking and i have been using this product now for about 2 weeks and my nails are coming along lovely :) I am so impressed!

I applied two coats at first and then added a coat every other day then after a week i removed it and started from scratch. I can actually not express enough how impressed i am by this product. I am shocked i really am. I got it in Matt as well and i love the effect it gives to your nails it is not totally Matt but gives them a little shine :)

I would STRONGLY recommend getting this product if you are having trouble growing your nails. Also a little tip would be to buy it from Ebay not your usual places like Boots etc if you are wanting to get it a little cheaper :)

Sorry i just had to share my excitement about it :) hehe

Want it. Topshop PU Biker

Hello there my loves,

Well i have been debating on this for quite a while every time i see this jacket i want it on extreme levels!

However i currently own a khaki coloured one that i got from River Island last year i think it was. So justifying spending £55 on another just in black im finding a little hard to come to terms with. You may have noticed or soon will that i really do not enjoy spending a lot of money on one item! lol. The word 'Tight' kind of springs to mind! lol

I know that a black leather jacket is kind of a must have in a wardrobe and i would definitely would get my money worth however the inital buying is what gets me haha!

I need someone to persuade me its for the best? lol

Love it. Want it. Lisa Hoffman's Fragrance Bracelets

Hey Ho,

Sorry i haven't blogged in a little while but work is trying to kill me with hours i am pretty sure of it!
Anyhoooooo.....I came across these bracelets by Lisa Hoffman which are fragranced and i completely fell in love! I just want one so bad.

Each bracelet has a different fragrance. Here are the variations;

  • Japanese Agarwood Bracelet - 'Honey-toned noblesse wood beads, brass spacers, blue aventurine beads and an antiqued bronze-plated charm encircle the Japanese Agarwood bracelet, mirroring the fragrance’s woody, soulful scent —accented with the refreshing zest of bergamot, serene spiced ginger and warm amber.'
  • Madagascar Orchid Bracelet - 'Cream-colored tanoak wood beads, gold-plated brass spacers and a brushed gold-plated charm embody the exotic, green floral scent of Madagascar Orchid, which comingles notes of sheer jasmine, ylang dew, mimosa mood and pink peony.'
  • Tuscan Fig Bracelet- 'Amber-hued resin beads intermingle with rose gold-plated brass and howlite stone beads and a rose gold-plated brass charm to evoke the rich, gourmand scent of Tuscan Fig, comprised of fig, vanilla bean, honeysuckle and coconut wood.'
  • Tunisian Neroli Bracelet - 'Red jade juxtaposed with a 14-karat gold-plated charm and beads echoes the intoxicating scent of Tunisian Neroli, a blend of precious neroli flower, ylang ylang and golden amber that’s both classically feminine and utterly modern.'
  • French Clary Sage Bracelet - 'Green-tinted jade beads, an oxidized sterling silver-plated charm and silver beads reflect French Clary Sage’s fresh, sophisticated blend of clary sage, cotton and watery floral notes'

'Each bracelet comes with refillable fragrance beads so you can easily refresh the scent in your charm.  It's perfume, we just reinvented the packaging'
(Information in Italics is taken from http://www.lisahoffmanbeauty.com/)

I personally think this is a fabulous idea and am so excited to try and get my hands on one so i will be able to review them for you guys :) I am just finding it difficult to get hold of in the UK at the moment but i shall battle on :)

These bracelets would look amazing stacked or even special and unique on their own also if you were not that keen on the fragrance that comes with the bracelet you wanted you can get refills for the bracelets so you could just change them over =)

The price in the USA is $65 per bracelet and this includes the a refill of the same fragrance linked to the bracelet. Which i do not personally think is a bad price because they are just GORGEOUS! However they still are a little pricey so it would be beneficial if there were some samples of the fragrances so that you could decide on a one that suited you before purchase? I will keep searching though =)

So watch this space my lovelies :)

Review: Soap and Glory - Hand Food

Hello :)

Just had to write about this must have! I think i have realised this due to this FREEZING cold weather lately! I tend to carry it in my handbag so i have it at all times.

The 1st thing that strikes me about any Soap and Glory product is the quirky packaging. Not so much the actual packaging but whats written on them. They are just so full of themselves and i love it! ' The most astonishing hand cream ever?'

The next thing i love about this is of course the smell! Now that is AMAZING! The description is also pretty spot on ' non - greasy hydrating hand cream with shea butter, macadamia oil & marshmallow'

After using the product i totally agree with the hand cream being non- greasy and also hydrating once i have used the product i do feel as instant upgrade in the moisture in my hands. Not to mention the lovely waft of smell u get when your hands reach any where near your nose.

LOVE - Black Soft Super Skinny Jeans

I bought these black soft super skinny jeans from miss selfridge because i was sick of buying black skinny jeans and then after a little while they sag at the knees and other areas and it is just a pain in the arse. But then leggings don't always work as well with some outfits therefore when i came across these i became very excitable because they are AMAZING and go with so much! Also they are unbelievably comfortable and make your bum look great ;)

.
They are £36 from miss selfridge which to be honest i don't think is that bad considering the amount of use i get out of them.

They are so versatile you can wear them with cute pumps and a top for just casual occasions for example i wore them above to night going to the cinema with the girls i wore them with a dark green silk top from Topshop which i just got in the sale for £15 and black pumps with black knot detail and the jewellery i have added below.

Gold Bangles from Oasis ages ago have little green gems in not that you can really see on this pic lol
A green ring in which i think i got from dorothy perkins a little while ago

A necklace which i love because it is just mint its also a little clock and mirror inside it opens up may even do a whole other post on it later lol from ebay.

Again from ebay a pair of gold flower earrings with pearls in the middle =) Topshop originally

Just thought i would share these with you because i definitely love them and would say they are one of the items in my wardrobe which are most used even though they are a fairly new addition

Review: EOS:The Lip Balm that baffles

The balms are a blend of petrolatum, paraben and gluten-free but still have a hydrating mix of shea butter, jojoba oil and vitamin E to keep lips smooth and gently hydrated.

The packaging i find is awesome its in a beautiful smooth little sphere which twists open to reveal a dome shaped balm. I think its brilliant totally in love.

I got the passionfruit flavour because its one of my favourite flavours. This is a sweet, fruity flavour thats light weight and hydrates lips just enough without leaving them feeling greasy.

If you hadn't already noticed i am a huge fan of these little balls of heaven!
